A couple of months ago, I received a marvelous box of hair cosmetics as a gift from my husband. He saw my passion for the CG method and how it works with my hair, so he decided to present me with new hair care products. Besides, it was another holiday, and the idea for a gift was ready. Honestly say, how he selected hair cosmetics, I do not know. But the present was ready, and I only had to test it.

The package box was outstanding and won me over. I love spectacular packaging, so I enjoyed the new box. Inside I found “Davines” hair care cosmetics. That was a special series for curly hair. This set included shampoo, conditioner, and hairstyling cream. Since I was only at the beginning of my path using the Curly Girl method, it was interesting to use different cosmetics and find the best.

I have been using this series for several months now. Shampoo and conditioner complement themselves perfectly. The conditioner easily detangles all hairs and does not weigh down the curls. The shampoo creates a thick lather, which is perfect for a more thorough wash once a week. I combine this shampoo with my usual conditioner for co-washing As I Am. For styling, “Davines” offers a cream for fixing curly hair. I put the cream on my wet hair and let it dry naturally. In the end, I have got a wet hair look. To get rid of it, I scrunching my hair along the entire length after it is dry. After that, my curl becomes more lively and lush. The cream fixes the locks well enough. I combine cream with a gel, but sometimes I use only a cream. In other words, I am still looking for the best style product combination for my hair. 

Overall, I liked this series of care products. I will continue to combine them with other makeup for curly hair.
